This game was released on November 14 2003 in Europe, November 17 2003 in America and November 7 2003 in Japan. In this game you can play Grand Prix,Time trials,VS mode and Battle mode. The game has 20 characters And they are Mario Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Baby Versions of Mario and Luigi Yoshi, Birdo, Koppa, Pratrooper, toad and Toadette, Bowser, Bowser Jr, King Boo , Petey Piranha, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, And Wario And Waluigi. The Gimmick is there are two characters in one kart, And you can hold two items at once. The game also has tons of karts That you can use but not every character continues every single kart, there are 16 tracks in this game, spread across 4 cups. And they are The mushroom cup, The flower cup, The star cup, and the special cup which has Difficult tracks. The battle mode in this game was Super fun because there was six levels that you could play on the battle mode and they were all awesome, overall I give this game a 10 out of 10
